Here is a simple re-frame to challenge - set expectations - and qualify

originally designed for the Inner Game Guys to overcome the Boy Friend Test - this re-frame can be used to move any "fixed" perspective

SB: that's a good place to begin/that's a good start/good beginning - whenever you can find yourself ready - we can move to something more advanced/adult/adventurous (interject desired emotional state)

although i completely disagree with language patterns - soooo many people have been asking that i think it's time to spill the beans

as a master hypnotist - i am privie to both the good & the dark/forbidden language patterns - the exact stuff i was always accused of spreading - but never did

For several months now people at the Vancouver Real World Hypnosis Meetup have been asking me about NLP language patterns and rapid inductions

AS a result - i will be adding a social yet educational angle to our group - twice a month on Sunday's we will be playing texas hold-em poker and using the ZEUBU cards. 

These are a series of NLP language patterns that are really easy to learn using this technique.  There is a $25 participation fee.  When you arrive, you will be given a number of ZEBU language patterns.  Use your new NLP patterns to try and win at the friendly game of low stakes poker.

as i prepare for this year's round of Inner Game Guys' workshops (every year - only in september - limit 100 people - tell your friends - spots go FAST) i am looking over our personal philosophy

i distinctly remember sitting in coal harbour at about 4am two years ago discussing my ideas with DA -  how we could apply them to relationship workshops - in general  - and - more pointedly - to make MEN - whether they aspire to be seduction artists/business leaders/high performance athletes/romantic family men

at the time and i guess even today (the OTHER guys are still "teaching") the prevailing approach is to identify an insecurity and - trigger it as punishment for - unwanted behaviour & the joy of emotional control

this behaviour is not limited to men - many women employ this tactic - as it suits their desired outcome

eg. look for stopping words if/but

this behaviour is not limited to verbal communication - often people who employ this approach - use sex/emotional closeness as a weapon -

this is not to be confused with tempting/teasing and general play with emotional tension

but why behave like this?

what is the purpose of making your personified object of affection feel - insecure - NOT GOOD ENOUGH?

anticipation for the new day

to live in the realm of the heart

to LIBERATE you from the depths of personal fear

to take a chance on love?

a person is special because of (NOT in spite of) whatever makes them unique - that cute birthmark - the wiggle of the nose when they smile - the way they say your name - the song on their lips that only they can sing

when we make the choice to enter into a new relationship - most people have a secret wish for this to be - the one

perhaps we should step back a little....

i was with a client the other day - who was worried about the emotional overload which accompanies new relationships

Question:

come on guys - it's this emotional overload that can only be found in the warmest embrace of passion's fire kiss - it's very different than an 80% love - 100% is gonna burn - but it's the only way to love

back to this weeks lesson: RESPECT

we all have baggage - sure - why not - we all come from somewhere - we've all been burned - by something

but what has this new guy done - to be punished by your past? - except fall in love with you?

i hear it alllll the time - every Romantic Magic & every Inner Game Guy workshop - people want to take a chance on the new person - BUT - all they have to do - is - take a chance on themselves!

i know your subconscious is trying to protect you - but at what expense? - true love is too high a price

STOP punishing people for trying to get to know you!

and

at least give yourself a chance to succeed

i took Kr into the field on the weekend - he always thought he was a respectful person - what a joke - there is NOTHING worse than a person who lies to himself - except someone who wastes MY time! -  after a little "re-framing" - we were ready to give it a try - he had 90mins to get his act together - or - i would drop him as a client - and of course - a friend - guess what? - he did it! - he finally came out from behind his stumbling blocks - lost the ego - and  - moved his mind in the forward direction - not easy -

PG gave me the cutest s-test on the weekend - lmao!!! - why would anyone - ever - test me like that? - look into my eyes and all desires will be yours - easy sonny

i know the beginning of a relationship is scary for everyone - ABC - always be cool - you know the other person is worried - Romantic Magic: Find True Love - never dump your personal crap on your potential lover - and - if you can - help them past their own personal BS

not always easy - especially with the doubts and fears - unless... well - if you want to be loved for yourself - then you better show the other person who you are - better they dislike you for your inner goodness - than dislike us for our past baggage

it's the same in seduction...

i never teach tricks

let them love you for who you are - not some disguise

Met the DJ today - nice guy - AMAZING musician - it's going to be good - and for the first time in many years - fun - K is going to have to up his game if he wants to stick with us - you guys know the drill - good by yourself means nothing with the band - and - even less - on stage - i'm sure he won't like the comments - but - it's tough love as usual

not sure if HBpianogirl is going to work out - she like me - but - i do play sax - lol - ok ok - i like her but - big g schooled me guru style yesterday - the traits that have always helped me be an amazing hypnotherapist have hindered me socially - hmmm....   

she said - seeing the greatness in what people can become does not excuse them from their current limitations - hmmmm....

i might need a new guru

at least neither of them have blue hair!
